Let’s face it: if you’re suffering from tooth loss, your self-esteem is probably pretty low. But if you choose us, you never have to settle for a smile you don’t feel 100% proud of. Our commitment to making your smile something you love is sincere, and we offer several reconstructive solutions to fit your needs!
Because they’re long-lasting and have a natural appearance, dental implants remain the most common solution to missing teeth. While we do not handle the surgical portion of dental implants, we coordinate every step of the implant appointment and put you in the good hands of an oral surgeon located just a few blocks west of our office. Our oral surgeon does an excellent job and abides by the same high standards of quality and workmanship that we do at our own practice.
Dental Implant Placement
Some methods of tooth-replacement focus on replicating just what’s visible. But our dental implants go the extra mile by replicating the entire structure of a tooth. After all, the roots of teeth may not be visible, but they serve the important functions of keeping teeth stable and connected to the jawbone.
Once you’ve decided on dental implants (with Dr. Frost’s guidance, of course!), the oral surgeon we refer you to begins the process by surgically inserting titanium “implant posts” into your jaw. These posts will serve as the foundations for the any replacement teeth which are visible to the naked eye. At every step in the process, our oral surgery partner ensures that your experience is as comfortable as possible.
After the implant posts have been placed, you then take the time to heal. This “cooling off” period not only gives you a break, but serves the important function of allowing your implants to bond with the jawbone and create a sturdy foundation for your replacement teeth. After the implant heals, Dr. Frost steps back in to restore it.
Dental Implant Restoration
With your implant posts healed, our next step is designing high-quality restoration teeth to be attached. If it’s just one tooth you’re replacing, a tooth-colored crown created by our state-of-the-art CEREC® machine can quickly reinvigorate your smile with a beautiful, natural look. For more extensive tooth-replacement, an implant-retained prosthetic might be a better “fit”. In either case, we’re confident that you’ll find the results to be stunning.
Tooth loss can eventually lead to serious oral health problems, but it doesn’t have to. Instead, let our team reinvigorate your smile with the transformational power of dental implants.
